It’s already Monday!
I haven’t said that in a while. This is probably the first week in our trip that I felt go by so quickly. Jason and I will bring up something that happened earlier on our trip, talking about it like it was forever ago. And I’ll say, “Wait… that was only a week ago.”
Time just seems to slow down on the road. It’s probably the difference between having a schedule where we do the same thing every – get up, go to work, go home – vs. something completely different each day. I’ll be interested to see if, as this becomes the new normal, time starts to speed up for us. I sure hope not!
We just finished our drive through Big Sur yesterday. Oh my goodness! It is so pretty. We had planned to do some video of the drive, but we were too focused on keeping our jaw attached to our heads as we took in the views. It was probably my favorite drive of the trip so far.
We are slowly making our way up to the Bay Area. We’ve been taking our time the past week and just going about an hour each day (well, except today! We did over 2 hours of driving). We should be in San Francisco by the time we check in with y’all next week.
